The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 are likely to be officially launched in India next month, after first being unveiled at EICMA in early November.

As impactful as Royal Enfield’s 650cc models have been, the lineup has remained pretty much the same since it was first shown at EICMA in 2017. That’s all set to change very soon. After years of rigorous testing and enticing spy shots, we believe that an official launch of the Shotgun 650 and/or the Super Meteor 650 is finally just around the corner, possibly as soon as next month.

It’s almost certain that at least one or both of these upcoming models will be officially unveiled at EICMA in early November, ahead of a launch soon thereafter. As far as India is concerned, the first time we’ll lay our eyes on these models in our homeland will probably be at Rider Mania 2022, scheduled to take place between 18 and 20 November in Goa.

The upcoming Shotgun 650 was previewed by the SG650 Concept that RE showed at EICMA last year, and the production version bike has since been spotted testing a number of times with verys similar styling cues. The Super Meteor 650, meanwhile has been undergoing its own test cycle for quite some time now and we recently learned some fresh details about the upcoming cruiser.
